dc.description	The term Sodom has been used to describe a particular type of sexual practices. This paper discusses the reception of the term within the Protrepticus of Clement of Alexandria. The passage of Prot. 103.4 is analyzed from a synchronic methodological approach, to conclude that there are no indications of a sexual stereotype in the interpretation of Sodom. Instead, there are other predominant thematic motifs such as criticism of custom, idolatry and hardening of heart. This is to make clear that not all interpretations of Sodom in ancient Christianity suggest a sexual stigmatization.	en-US
dc.description	El término Sodoma ha servido para caracterizar a un particular tipo de prácticas sexuales. El presente artículo revisa la recepción del término dentro del Protréptico de Clemente de Alejandría. Se analiza, desde un acercamiento metodológico sincrónico, el pasaje de Prot. 103.4 para llegar a la conclusión de que no existen indicios de un estereotipo sexual en la interpretación de Sodoma. En su lugar, son otros los motivos temáticos predominantes tales como la crítica a la costumbre, la idolatría y al endurecimiento del corazón. Con ello se pretende dejar claro que no todas las lecturas que se hace de Sodoma en el cristianismo antiguo implican una estigmatización sexual.	es-ES
