On this article, temporality is understood as a psychological process which children with HIV build in a autopoietic way, with the contribution of three systems: the biological system, the psychic system and the social system. The epistemological bases of the systemic theory developed by Luhmann are taken, in the way it assumes that children with HIV are formed with those autopoietical systems and each one of them, in a structural mating, contributes to the building of his/her temporality model.En el presente artículo se entiende la temporalidad como un proceso psicológico que el niño con VIH construye de forma autopoiética, con el aporte de tres sistemas: el sistema biológico, el sistema psíquico y el sistema social. Se adoptan los presupuestos epistemológicos de la teoría sistémica constructivista desarrollada por Luhmann, en el sentido que se asume que los niños con VIH están conformados por dichos sistemas autopoiéticos y que cada uno de estos sistemas, en un acoplamiento estructural, aporta en la construcción de su modelo de temporalidad.
