dc.descriptionLiterature emphasizes the nexus between the escalation of social conflicts and the possibilities of a change in institutional arrangements’ change. To better understand this relationship, this article examines the link between socio-territorial conflicts and institutional change to propose a method that, through dialogue, promotes the placement of collective demands on the public agenda. It concludes by reflecting on the implications for future research for dialogue initiatives as a tool for institutional transformation through the treatment of socio-territorial conflicts, collective action and their limitations in Latin America.en-US
dc.descriptionLa literatura existente enfatiza el nexo entre el escalamiento de los conflictos sociales y las posibilidades de cambio en los arreglos institucionales. Para entender mejor esta relación, este artículo examina el vínculo entre los conflictos socioterritoriales y el cambio institucional para proponer un método que mediante mecanismos de diálogo impulse la instalación de las propuestas ciudadanas en la agenda pública. Se concluye reflexionando sobre las implicancias para la investigación futura sobre el diálogo como herramienta de transformación institucional a través del tratamiento de conflictos socioterritoriales, la acción colectiva y las limitaciones de los mismos en América Latina.es-ES
