| dc.description | From a qualitative and performance perspective, this article analyses the ethno-theatrical play "Zona de promesa". Created in 2020, the play addresses –from the communities’ experience- the social-environmental conflicts resulting from industrial pollution and water crisis in the areas of Puchuncaví-Quintero and Petorca, respectively, in the central zone of Chile. Notably, this is an analysis on how this play was designed and implemented, with an emphasis on the methodology used by the theater company as well as its theoretical principles. The play is part of a research on some of the main social-environmental conflicts currently present in Chile, conducted by Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi, a site of conscience. This play is based upon the ethnographical experience during the field work in this project, and promotes the principles of human rights applied to a sound environment, as well as assuming the dissemination and exposure of the many conflicts experienced by the affected communities. | en-US |
| dc.description | El artículo analiza, mediante una perspectiva cualitativa y performática, la obra de etnoteatro "Zona de promesa", una pieza creada en 2020 que aborda, desde la experiencia de las comunidades, los conflictos socioambientales derivados de la contaminación industrial y la crisis hídrica que existe en Puchuncaví-Quintero y Petorca, respectivamente, en la zona central de Chile. Particularmente, se analiza cómo esta obra fue diseñada y puesta en práctica, enfatizando en la metodología usada por la compañía de teatro y sus principios teóricos. Siendo parte de una investigación del sitio de conciencia Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi sobre algunos de los principales conflictos socioambientales actuales en Chile, la obra, basada en la experiencia etnográfica vivenciada en el trabajo de campo de este proyecto, promueve el principio del derecho humano a un medioambiente sano, difundiendo y denunciando las problemáticas que viven las comunidades afectadas. | es-ES |
