In this work we attempt to reflect about the traces left of women who were considered “bad” by colonial justice in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, in the documentary, bibliographic and architectural heritage of Córdoba. That is, wework on the traces that were left of them, in various documentary types of official origin, in legal literature that only an elite read and owned, and in a building that housed the cell destined for them, in the Royal jail of the council; since we understandthat looking for such footprints in records that are not only documentary highlight new aspects. Likewise, we will examine how they were registered in these documents, and about the access and visibility policies implemented by the institutions that host these rich cultural assets, from a gender perspective.En este artículo intentaremos reflexionar sobre las huellas que han quedado de las mujeres que fueron consideradas malas por la justicia colonial a finales del siglo XVIII y principios del XIX, en el patrimonio documental, bibliográfico y arquitectónico de Córdoba. Es decir, trabajaremos sobre los rastros que quedaron de ellas, en diversos tipos documentales de origen oficial, en la literatura jurídica que solo una élite leía y poseía, y en un edificio que albergó la celda destinada a ellas, en la Real Cárcel del Cabildo; ya que entendemos que sus huellas cobran otro relieve cuando salimos a buscarlas en registros que no son solamente documentales. Asimismo, escrutaremos cómo fueron registradas en estos documentos y, desde una perspectiva de género, revisaremos las políticas de acceso y de visibilización que implementan las instituciones que acogen estos ricos bienes culturales.
