dc.description	This article examines the judicial case file related the attempted murder of the young Puelma siblings (Santiago, 1894-1896). It analyzes the construction of the figure of the sister, and alleged would-be murderer of the children, Euldarisa Puelma Ugarte, in the testimonies given and defense strategies employed in the case. The analysis contributes to the study of the discourses of female crime and female violence, from a perspective that combines gender studies and the history of vulnerable children.	en-US
dc.description	A partir del expediente judicial relativo al intento de asesinato de los tres hermanos Puelma (Santiago, 1894-1896), se analiza la figura de Euldarisa Puelma Ugarte, hermana y supuesta verdugo de los niños, así como la construcción de su figura en los testimonios y sus estrategias de defensa. De esta forma, se pretende aportar al estudio de los discursos sobre la criminalidad y la violencia femeninas desde un enfoque de género cruzado con la historia de la infancia desvalida.	es-ES
