dc.descriptionThis article presents the conception of history developed by German philosopher and literary critic, Werner Hamacher, in ashort essay published in 1985, titled, “Über einige Unterschiede zwischen der Geschichte literarischer und der Geschichtephänomenaler Ereignisse.” The article focuses on two crucial aspects of Hamacher’s essay: on the one hand, it emphasizesthe historical significance that Hamacher accords to tears as the mark of the event of history; on the other hand, it elaboratesHamacher’s thinking of historicity on the basis of the limit experience of Abschied—departure or farewell. By doing so,the article seeks to consolidate Hamacher’s attempt to think history otherwise than in accordance with its philosophical andhistoricist determination, which conceives of historicity as an event from within the horizon of a-ppropriation (Ereignis). Onthe basis of Hamacher’s essay, historicity is rearticulated as the experience of an expropriation that resists any attempt to bedomesticated.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo expone el pensamiento de la historia que el crítico literario y filósofo alemán Werner Hamacher desarrollara en un breve ensayo publicado en el 1985, “Über einige Unterschiede zwischen der Geschichte literarischer und der Geschichte phänomenaler Ereignisse”1, haciendo hincapié en dos aspectos cruciales: por una parte, la carga histórica que Hamacher le otorga al llanto como la marca misma del evento de la historia y, por otra, la experiencia límite del Abschied –la partida o la despedida– como el rasgo esencial de la historicidad. De este modo, el ensayo busca consolidar el intento de Hamacher de pensar la historia de otro modo que, según su determinación filosófica e historicista, que piensa la historicidad como evento a partir del horizonte de la a-propiación (Er-eignis). A partir de este ensayo, Hamacher rearticula la historicidad como la experiencia de una expropiación que resiste cualquier intento de ser domesticada.es-ES
