dc.descriptionThis paper analyzes the dialogue between astronomical experts and non-experts in Chilean magazines during the first decades of the 20th Century. We propose that in the context of astronomical institutionalization in Chile, the circulation of this knowledge intensifies in this period between 1900 and 1920, generating an interesting exchange in the pages of this type of journal. This article exposes and examines the particularities of the interactions between astronomers and their audiences in the leading Chilean magazines of the period, concluding that this relationship is in itself a process of scientific knowledge production.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo consiste en un análisis del diálogo que se sostiene en magazines chilenos entre expertos y profanos del saber astronómico durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Se propone que, en el proceso de institucionalización de la astronomía en Chile, existe un período (1900-1920) en que se intensifica la circulación de este saber, generándose un interesante intercambio en las páginas de revistas. En este artículo se expone y profundiza acerca de las particularidades de la interacción entre los astrónomos y sus públicos en los principales magazines chilenos del período, entendiendo esta relación en sí misma como un proceso de producción de conocimiento científico.es-ES
