dc.description	This study is dedicated to the meanings of the term Spain during Early Modern Times, especially during the reigns of the Habsburg kings. We show that the current meaning of Spain as a political concept of one part of the Iberian Peninsula is not valid for that time. Nonetheless, it has been used in this sense for a long time. Three main concepts of Spain are identified for the Habsburg period: the geographical one, the one of the Spanish monarchy and the Spanish nation, although the last one with a very different meaning than today.	en-US
dc.description	Este estudio está dedicado a los significados del término España en la Edad Moderna, particularmente durante los reinados de los Austrias. Se muestra que el significado que se le asigna hoy, como concepto político de una parte de la Península ibérica, no es válida para la época y, a pesar de ello, se ha usado durante mucho tiempo en dicho sentido. Se identifican tres conceptos principales de España para el período de los Austrias: el geográfico, el de la monarquía española y el de la nación española, éste último con un significado muy distinto al actual.	es-ES
