El presente trabajo tiene como propósito conocer las opiniones de dos mujeres inmigrantes alemanas de Valparaíso, a mediados del siglo XIX, a fin de comprender su cultura y reflexiones personales sobre el medio local. Aunque se trata de dos perspectivas diferentes, se perciben comportamientos similares, especialmente respecto de su escasa relación con la sociedad nativa.This paper aims to know the opinions of two German women living in Valparaiso as immigrants in the mid-nineteenth century, in order to understand their culture and personal reflections on the local environment. Although these are two different perspectives, similar behaviors arise, especially in connection with their respective poor relationship to native society.
