dc.description	This article addresses the issue of freedom in Marx’s thought, starting from his characterization of the communist ideal in terms of an “association of free individuals”. First, it looks into his criticism of capitalism as an “apparent” or “illusory” community, which systematically denies not only equality but also freedom. Second, it identifies the philosophical presuppositions that allow him to describe alienation as an experience of losing freedom. From this viewpoint, finally, it approaches Marx’s idea of an “real community”, whose conditions of mutual complementarity are those which make possible everyone’s freedom.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo aborda el problema de la libertad en el pensamiento de Marx a partir de su caracterización del ideal comunista como una asociación de individuos libres. Se examina, en primer lugar, su crítica al capitalismo en tanto comunidad ilusoria o aparente (scheinbare Gemeinschaft) que niega de modo sistemático no solo la igualdad, sino también la libertad. Enseguida se abordan los supuestos filosóficos que permiten a Marx describir la enajenación como una experiencia de pérdida de libertad.Desde aquí se examina finalmente su idea de una comunidad verdadera (wirkliche Gemeinschaft) cuyas  condiciones de mutua complementariedad hacen posible la libertad de todos.	es-ES
