dc.descriptionThe article shows the results of the Bachelor of Science and Humanities Program of the Universidad of Santiago of Chile (USACH), taking into account its explicit foundational purpose at the beginning of the 90s of the last century, in order to facilitate processes of vocational discernment of students, to while demonstrating the asynchrony between the curricular adjustments that have been implemented and the evolution of the income profile of its students, also mediated by the inclusion policies implemented by the university at the end of the last decade.The analyzed data, allow us to conclude that since its origins, this program has not accessed mostly students who need to discern their vocation, while realizing the need to propose macro and micro curricular changes, aimed at improving their effectiveness of the program in line with the update of new income profiles, where most vulnerable students stand out.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo muestra los resultados del Programa de Bachillerato en Ciencias y Humanidades de la USACH, teniendo en consideración su explícito propósito fundacional a inicios de la década del 90 del siglo pasado, en orden a facilitar procesos de discernimiento vocacional de los estudiantes, a la vez que se demuestra la asincronía entre los ajustes curriculares que se han implementado y la evolución del perfil de ingreso de sus estudiantes, mediatizado además, por las políticas de inclusión implementadas por la universidad a fines de la década pasada.Los datos analizados, nos permiten concluir que desde sus orígenes, este programa no ha accesado mayoritariamente a estudiantes que requieren discernir su vocación, a la vez que da cuenta de la necesidad de proponer cambios macro y micro curriculares, tendientes a mejorar su efectividad del programa en consonancia con la actualización de nuevos perfiles de ingreso, donde destacan estudiantes mayormente vulnerables.es-ES
