| dc.description | The presentation deals with how Thomas Hobbes’s philosophy puts an end to the traditional psychology of the faculties of the soul and to the idea of man as a rational being. Hobbes’s materialistic and physical principles leads to eventually to a conception of man as moved by passions and reason as an instrument to achieve the desired exit in obtaining all that it is desired: the new idea of happiness. After Hobbes there came psychoanalysis with its fee associations, behaviorism and positivism trying to imitate physical-mathematical sciences, with the Gestalt reaction. All this development has led to a psychology without philosophy, without fundaments, ignoring that philosophy is part of all true science. | en-US |
| dc.description | La ponencia se refiere a como la filosofía de Thomas Hobbes pone fin a la tradicional psicología de las potencias o facultades del alma y a la idea del hombre como un ser racional. Son los principios materialista y fisicalista de Hobbes los que llevan a una redefinición de conceptos que conduce con el tiempo a una concepción del hombre como movido por sus pasiones y a la razón como un instrumento a sus servicios para alcanzar el éxito en obtener todo lo que desea: la nueva idea de felicidad. Después de Hobbes vino el psicoanálisis con sus asociaciones libres, el conductismo y el positivismo tratando de imitar a las ciencias físico- matemáticas, con la reacción de la psicología de la Gestalt. Todo este desarrollo ha llevado a una psicología sin filosofía, sin fundamentos, olvidando que la filosofía es parte de toda verdadera ciencia. | es-ES |
