dc.descriptionIn this paper, I develop a philosophical analysis of the concept of mourning deepening in some of the ontological and ethical implications of it. I hold, using some of the resources of Ricoeur’s thought, that the concept of mourning is a phenomenological evidence of an ontology of the capable man, of the “wounded cogito” and of otherness. With respect with the ethical implications of mourning, I affirm, using some of Ricoeur’s and Foucault’s resources, that the idea of mourning can be seen from the point of view of an ethics of originary affirmation and as a technology of the self at the service of the care of the self. These considerations will be reinforced with some reflections on Derrida ́s account on mourning, which will help us to situate mourning as a fundamental disposition of existence and not only as a therapeutic process.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo hago un análisis filosófico de la idea del duelo profundizando en algunas de sus implicancias ontológicas y éticas. Sostengo, con ayuda del pensamiento de Ricoeur, que el concepto del duelo es una evidencia fenomenológica de una ontología del hombre capaz, del cogito herido y de la alteridad. En cuanto a las implicancias éticas, con la ayuda del mismo Ricoeur y de Foucault, afirmo que el duelo puede verse desde una ética de la afirmación originaria y como una tecnología del yo al servicio del cuidado de sí mismo. Estas ideas se verán reforzadas por las reflexiones de Derrida, quien nos ayudará a situar el duelo como una disposición fundamental de la existencia y no solo como un proceso terapéutico.es-ES
