El objetivo de este artículo es realizar una crítica a la inclusión social desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social Intercultural y Decolonial. Se procedió a la revisión de documentos publicados por organizaciones internacionales que tienen injerencia política directa en América Latina y el Caribe, textos académicos y aprendizajes logrados con comunidades y pueblos diversos. Resultado: los discursos y prácticas sobre la inclusión social se sitúan en el capitalismo y la modernidad como paradigma hegemónico. Es importante descolonizar la inclusión social, en la perspectiva de comprometerse con una propuesta de liberación que conlleve a superar la funcionalidad al sistema social vigente.   The objective of this article is to make a critique to social inclusion from Intercultural and Decolonial Social Work. Documents published by international organizations, which have direct political interference Latin American and the Caribbean. Additionally, we reviewed academic texts; also, we incorporate in our reflection, the results of some achieved learning from diverse communities and peoples. Result: the narratives and practices about social inclusion are usually located on the capitalism and modernity as hegemonic paradigm. It is important to decolonize the social inclusion. In this way, Social Work should support an ethical perspective of liberation, which entail the overcoming of its functionality to the current social system.
