| dc.description | Se examina históricamente el proceso de relocalización habitacional de 512 familias de la ciudad de Tocopilla después de un terremoto. A pesar de las expectativas que esta relocalización implicaba, dichas familias fueron situadas por el Estado de Chile en un sitio altamente contaminado y vulnerable a los aluviones. Se analiza el proceso de presión de las familias por la demanda de una casa e interpretamos la respuesta del Estado en un territorio ordenado y sacrificado por el capitalismo minero.
It is examined historically the housing relocation process of 512 families in the city of Tocopilla, after an earthquake. Despite the expectations that this relocation implied, these families were located by the State of Chile in a highly contaminated site, which is also vulnerable to flood. It is analyzed the process of pressure of these families by demanding housing. On the other hand, it is interpreted the State’s response in this specific territory, what is ordered and sacrificed by the mining capitalism. | es-ES |
