| dc.description | La implementación de la reforma económica aprobada el 18 de abril de 2011 en Cuba, revela la necesidad de reflexionar enlos impactos que tiene sobre el empoderamiento de las mujeres cubanas. A partir del empleo del método etnográfico y entrevistas en profundidad a mujeres insertadas en el trabajo por cuenta propia, se realiza un análisis sobre las relaciones entre los roles que desempeñan en el ámbito público y privado y el impacto sociocultural de esta forma de empleo en instituciones comunitarias y en las propias mujeres.
The implementation of the economic reform approved on April 18th, 2011 in Cuba, reveals the need to reflect on the impacts it has on the empowerment of Cuban women. Based on the employment of ethnographic methodology and indepth interviews with women who are self-employed, an analysis is conducted on the relationships between the roles that are carried out in the public and private sectors and the sociocultural impact on this form of employment on community institutions and on the very women themselves. | es-ES |
