dc.descriptionCierto, correcto, exacto y seguro are adjectives that act both in the microstructural and macrostructural spheres of discourse. Within sentence boundaries, they act as lexical items, while in the macrostructural dimension they function as functions words, using Hopper-Traugott’s (1993) terminology. In the macrostructural sphere, these forms have acquired an intonation and syntactic independence that enables them to constitute independent statements of an epistemic nature that, in addition, act on the argumentative plane. In this paper we intend to show the modal and argumentative productivity that these adjectives present when they appear as independent statements. To do this, we rely on the search in the MEsA Corpus, VALESCO 2.0. Corpus, Corpus COLA(M) and in the academic corpus (CORDE, CREA and CORPES XXI). The theoretical-methodological framework followed is Macrosyntax (Fuentes Rodríguez 2013, 2017, 2019) developed from Pragmatic Linguistics (Fuentes Rodríguez 2017 [2000]).en-US
dc.descriptionCierto, correcto, exacto y seguro son adjetivos que funcionan tanto en el ámbito microestructural como en el macroestructural del discurso. Dentro de los límites oracionales, actúan como lexical items, mientras que en la dimensión macroestructural funcionan como functions words, empleando la terminología de HopperTraugott (1993). En el ámbito macroestructural, estas formas han adquirido una independencia entonativa y sintáctica que las habilita para constituir enunciados independientes de naturaleza epistémica que, además, actúan en el plano argumentativo. En este trabajo pretendemos mostrar la productividad modal y argumentativa que estos adjetivos presentan cuando aparecen como enunciados independientes. Para ello, nos basamos en la búsqueda en el Corpus MEsA, Corpus VALESCO 2.0., Corpus COLA(M) y en los corpus académicos (CORDE, CREA y CORPES XXI). El marco teóricometodológico seguido es la Macrosintaxis (Fuentes Rodríguez 2013, 2017, 2019) desarrollada desde la Lingüística Pragmática (Fuentes Rodríguez 2017 [2000]).es-ES
