dc.descriptionThis article presents a detailed exploration on the profound transformation set to work on the concept of ‘history’ by Martin Heidegger’s risky leap from metaphysics into the domain of thinking (the thinking of Being). At first, the exposition follows closely the inner logic of metaphysical thinking in order to prove then the necessarily metaphysical position held by its two ways of processing history: the philosophy of history and historiography. From this point, the article moves further on to consider a radically new way of grasping the nature of history: that which Heidegger calls “the other beginning”.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo constituye una detallada exploración de la profunda transformación experimentada por el concepto de “historia” a la luz del salto intentado por Martin Heidegger desde la metafísica hacia el ámbito del pensamiento (del Ser). En un primer momento, la exposición sigue de cerca la lógica interna del pensar metafísico para demostrar luego con ello el carácter necesariamente metafísico de sus dos maneras de “procesar” la historia: la filosofía de la historia y la historiografía. Desde ahí, el artículo avanza hacia un modo radicalmente nuevo de entender la naturaleza de la historia: aquello que Heidegger llama “el otro inicio”.es-ES
