The study explores the representations that are constructed on the new infantile subjectivities and his relations with the audiovisual means of communication. In this frame the representations are interrogated on the new infancies centring on the cinema as circuit of production and circulation of these representations. The study is qualitative-interpretive and the methodological tools are interviews and focal groups. The finds present two positions: those who feel that the infancy is being threatened and they react defending her and protecting her; and those who assume these changes as a challenge to know the new possibilities of sociability and of be constructing as subject. Equally, debates appear on the regulation of the audio-visual offer and the literacy in audio-visual means.    El estudio explora las representaciones que se construyen sobre las nuevas subjetividades infantiles y sus relaciones con los medios audiovisuales de comunicación. En este marco se interrogan las representaciones sobre las nuevas infancias, centrándose en el cine como circuito de producción y circulación de estas representaciones. El estudio es cualitativo-interpretativo y las herramientas metodológicas son entrevistas y grupos focales. Los hallazgos presentan dos posiciones: por una parte, quienes sienten que la infancia está siendo amenazada y reaccionan defendiéndola y protegiéndola; y, por otra, quienes asumen estos cambios como un reto para conocer las nuevas posibilidades de sociabilidad y de construirse como sujeto. Igualmente, se plantean debates sobre la regulación de la oferta audiovisual y la alfabetización en medios audiovisuales.
