For sometime, a debate exists among psychoanalysts on the need to simplify metapsychology and provide psychoanalysis with an epistemological frame that could inscribe it within the hermeneutical sciences.Following the postulates of Ricoeur, this study intends to investigate how reformulations contributed by the hermeneutic perspective in metapsychology, should seriously transforma the specificity of psychoanalysis.Indeed, if for Ricoeur, psychoanalysis is understood as a project directed at the subject's self-understanding, there are aspects of Freudian theory that are insufficient to conceive a projection of the subject, beyond his regressive symbolic determinants. We would the have to impress a teleology to Freudian archaeology.A new examination of the place sexuality holds in Freudian metapsychology should help specify the meaning of interpretation, as well as the meaning the use psychoanalysis in clinical work.Hace un tiempo algunos psicoanalistas debaten acerca de la necesidad de simplificar la metapsicología y proveer al psicoanálisis un marco epistemológico que lo inscriba dentro de las ciencias hermenéuticas.Siguiendo los postulados de Ricoeur, este trabajo pretende investigar cómo las reformas aportadas por la mirada hermenéutica a la metapsicología transforman severamente la especificidad del psicoanálisis.Si para Ricoeur el psicoanálisis se inscribe dentro de un proyecto tendiente a la autocomprensión del sujeto, en la teoría freudiana existirían aspectos insuficientes para concebir una proyección del sujeto más allá de sus determinaciones simbólicas regresivas. Habría entonces que imprimir una teleología a la arqueología freudiana.Un nuevo examen del lugar que ocupa la sexualidad en la metapsicología freudiana podría especificar tanto el sentido de la interpretación como el sentido de la clínica psicoanalítica.
