In the article concepts, beliefs and feeling are presented in relation to death in adults whose ages fluctuated between 65 and 75 years. The first part of the study is concerned with the importante of this subject matter, a constant in the history of humanity, wich appears to be an anthropologically significant problem for psychological research.The results show that death is considered to be a necessary event in the period of life analysed in the study. Reflections related to this phenomenon create a broader outlook of approaching life and the human being. The feelings of these subject are more related to the manner in wich death occurs than with death itself, especially with personal desires of "ggod dying". Finally, conclusions are drawn that suggest ideas to be taken into account in order to confront the problem of death. En este artículo se presenta una investigación sobre las concepciones, creencias y sentimientos respecto a la muerte en adultos mayores entre 65 y 75 años años de edad. En la primera parte se señala la importancia del estudio de este tema que constituye uan constante antropológica en la historia de la humanidad y la necesidad de investigarlo desde una perspectiva psicológica. Luego se presentan los objetivos y la metodología utilizada. Posteriormente se discuten los principales resultados que muestran la muerte como una normativa de la etapa en estudio, las concepciones vinculadas a las fromas más amplias del pensar sobre al vida y el ser humano, los sientimientos de temor más que ante la muerte misma ante él como de ella y los deseos personales respecto al bien morir. Finalmente, se dan a conocer conclusiones y algunas ideas para tener presente en torno a una formación para encararla y a una ortotanasia.
