| dc.description | Impunity in Mexico has brought with it diverse effects and social behaviors, such as a loss of confidence in authorities and a lack of credibility in the justice system leading to inhibitions around reporting. Justice and the truth as human rights are a pending debt among many of the governments of Latin America. Since the 1960s there have been cases of disappeared people where the truth has never been uncovered - October 2nd of 1968, and the case of the normal school students of Ayotzinapa in September of 2014 are both emblematic of the pain and injustice of different historical moments in Mexico. To this day our demands for truth and justice are pending. There are eighty-six thousand disappeared people without a response from authorities regarding motives or responsible actors since the time of their disappearances, despite the laws and protocols in effect. For years collectives of family members made up of primarily of women have denounced these omissions and irregularities, along with the lack of institutional coordination and political will, bringing Mexico’s human rights crisis to light. Progress and clues in the cases of disappeared people are often due to investigations by family members. The present work shares reflections that emerged on the topic of demanding justice during a solidary meeting with a collective of women in Morelos, Mexico, from the perspective of participatory action-research. Frustration, sadness, pain, political distrust are the subjectivities built on their demand for justice. | en-US |
| dc.description | La impunidad en México ha traído consigo diversos efectos y comportamientos sociales, como la pérdida de confianza en las autoridades y la falta de credibilidad en los procesos de acceso a la justicia, lo cual lleva a inhibir la denuncia. La justicia y la verdad como derechos humanos, una deuda pendiente por parte de los gobiernos de América Latina. Casos sin respuesta, sin conocer la verdad de la desaparición de personas desde la década de los 60’s, tal ha sido el hecho del 2 de octubre de 1968 o el caso de los normalistas de Ayotzinapa en septiembre del 2014, casos emblemáticos de dolor e injusticia de diferentes momentos históricos de México. Desde entonces las demandas de verdad y justicia están pendientes. 86 mil personas desaparecidas que las autoridades no han dado respuesta sobre las causas, razones o actores responsables de estas desapariciones, pese a las leyes y protocolos en materia. Colectivos de familiares conformado mayoritariamente por mujeres han denunciado por años omisiones, irregularidades, falta de coordinación institucional, falta de voluntad política y han visibilizado la crisis de derechos humanos en México. Es frecuente que los avances o pistas sobre la desaparición de personas se deba a investigaciones de las familias. Este trabajo comparte reflexiones en torno al tema de la exigencia de justicia a partir de un acompañamiento solidario con un colectivo de mujeres en Morelos, México, desde la perspectiva de la investigación-acción participativa. La frustración, la tristeza, el dolor, la desconfianza política son las subjetividades construidas en su exigencia de justicia. | es-ES |
