| dc.description | Tragedy has historically been relegated outside the polis. Politics, it is usually said, is born in the ruins of the tragic world. However, the tragic force is constantly evoked in modernity as a transformative impulse of politics, whether in the form of a desire for catastrophe, of a revolution thought of as destruction and disaster of the rational order, or in the form of an annihilating suspension of the proper and free Cartesian subject. The problem of being-with has been constructed around the irruption of the tragic into the political. The present article interrogates this intersection, showing the ideological relapses, but also the transformative capacity of the political uses of the tragic. | en-US |
| dc.description | La tragedia ha sido históricamente relegada afuera de la polis. La política, se dice habitualmente, naces en las ruinas del mundo trágico. Sin embargo, la fuerza trágica es evocada constantemente en la modernidad como impulso transformador de la política, sea bajo la forma de un deseo de la catástrofe, de una revolución pensada como destrucción y desastre del orden racional, ya sea bajo la forma de una suspensión aniquiladora del sujeto cartesiano apropiado y libre. El problema del estar-con ha sido construido alrededor de la irrupción de lo trágico en lo político. El presente artículo se interroga sobre este cruce, mostrando las recaídas ideológicas, pero también la capacidad transformadora de los usos políticos de lo trágico. | es-ES |
