dc.descriptionThis article begins to reflect on the tragic Heideggerian question of the “destiny of Being”, which Sloterdijk takes to a shameless expression regarding existence itself in danger. This question is put in relation to the different dominant perspectives of the twentieth century that end in the suffix “ism” and with that other that deals with “the end of history”. From such a scenario, this article highlights different efforts to integrate what C.P. Snow called the divorce of the two cultures (science and humanities). And from such problematization the hypothesis is advanced that says that the most adequate way to respond to the modern-late existential challenges is by seeking to integrate in their differences: the scientific-intellectual-technological and the affective-psychic.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el presente artículo se comienza a reflexionar a partir de la cuestión trágica heideggeriana del “destino del ser”, que Sloterdijk lleva hasta una expresión desvergonzada respecto de la existencia misma en peligro. Tal cuestión es puesta en relación con las distintas perspectivas dominantes del siglo XX que finalizan en el sufijo “ismo” y con esa otra que trata del “fin de la historia”. Desde tal escenario, en este artículo se destacan distintos esfuerzos por integrar lo que C.P. Snow llamara el divorcio de las dos culturas (ciencias y humanidades). Y desde tal problematización se avanza la hipótesis que dice que la manera más adecuada de responder a los desafíos existenciales moderno-tardíos es buscando integrar en sus diferencias: lo científico-intelectual-tecnológico y lo afectivo-anímico.es-ES
