| dc.description | El objetivo de este artículo es reconstruir la trayectoria y las perspectivas sobre la política de la revista católica argentina Familia Cristiana, una de las publicaciones más leídas entre el laicado. El análisis se despliega en un recorte temporal que incluye el tercer gobierno peronista (1973-1976) y los dos primeros años de la dictadura militar (1976-1983). El argumento principal es que Familia Cristiana resulta un objeto relevante a través del cual es posible acercarse a las ambigüedades y los “grises” del catolicismo en un período particularmente complejo y convulsionado de la historia reciente de la Argentina. La reconstrucción de este proceso desde la perspectiva de los actores católicos implica indagar en sus perspectivas sobre la violencia y la represión, ponerlos en diálogo con la creciente centralidad que adquirieron los discursos religiosos e identificar los vínculos que establecieron con la jerarquía eclesiástica a medida que aumentaba su protagonismo en un escenario de profunda inestabilidad política.Palabras clave: Iglesia católica, Familia Cristiana, Argentina, década de 1970, violencia, Dictadura militar, represión. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The aim of this article is to reconstruct the trajectory and perspectives on politics of the Argentine Catholic magazine Familia Cristiana, one of the most widely read publications among the laity. The analysis unfolds in a time frame that includes the third Peronist government (1973-1976) and the first two years of the military dictatorship (1976-1983). The main argument is that Familia Cristiana is a relevant object through which it is possible to approach the ambiguities and “greys” of Catholicism in a particularly complex and convulsive period of Argentina’s recent history. The reconstruction of this process from the perspective of Catholic actors involves investigating their perspectives on violence and repression, putting them in dialogue with the growing centrality of religious discourses and identifying the links they established with the ecclesiastical hierarchy as their protagonism increased in a scenario of profound political instability.Keywords: Catholic Church, Familia Cristiana, Argentina, 1970s, Violence, military dictatorship, Repression | en-US |
