dc.description	In the last decade, interest in pain has resurfaced within philosophy. However, the chosen perspective is no longer the one assumed a few decades ago (naturalism), but phenomenology. I argue that the reason for this paradigm shift responds to the fact that the attempts to proceed in a naturalistic philosophy of pain are, due to naturalism, contradictory, and cannot satisfy the demands that it has posed itself. I suggest that the phenomenology of pain does not fall into these contradictions, and also presents itself as a solid proposal to offer a coherent philosophy of pain. Finally, I outline the nature of a phenomenology of pain as well as some of its research areas.	en-US
dc.description	En la última década ha resurgido el interés por el dolor al interior de la filosofía. Sin embargo, la perspectiva elegida ya no es la que se asumió hacía unas décadas (el naturalismo), sino la fenomenología. Expongo que el motivo de este cambio de paradigma responde a que los intentos de proceder en una filosofía naturalista del dolor son, por ser naturalistas, contradictorios, y no pueden satisfacer las exigencias que ella misma se ha planteado. Sugiero que la fenomenología del dolor no cae en estas contradicciones, y además se presenta como una propuesta sólida para ofrecer una filosofía del dolor coherente. Finalmente, esbozo la naturaleza de una fenomenología del dolor así como algunos de sus ámbitos de investigación.	es-ES
