dc.descriptionWhen we talk about memory, there is always the discussion in relation to what we want to say, due to the inaccuracy of the term, but also as a result of the fact that always, behind a discourse about it, there are interests of the different groups to install “his” memory as unique and true. So, under this premise, the article seeks to review some of the main approaches to memory proposed by memory studies received in the Southern Cone, mainly from what was proposed by Elizabeth Jelin, to land them in the Chilean context from the approaches of the prominent psychologist Elizabeth Lira. In this way, in the final part of the writing, we willseek to leave some final considerations circulating that make it possible to continue the discussion on a subject in permanent construction such as memory.en-US
dc.descriptionCuando se habla acerca de memoria siempre está la discusión en relación con lo que queremos decir, debido a la inexactitud del término, pero también producto de que siempre, detrás de un discurso acerca de ella, hay intereses de los distintos grupos por instalar “su” memoria como única y verdadera. Entonces, bajo esta premisa, el artículo busca revisar algunos de los principales planteamientos respecto de la memoria propuestos por los memory studies recepcionados en el Cono Sur, principalmente desde lo propuesto por Elizabeth Jelin, para aterrizarlos al contexto chileno desde los planteamientos de la destacada sicóloga Elizabeth Lira. De esta manera, en la parte final del escrito, se buscará dejar circulando algunas consideraciones finales que posibiliten seguir la discusión de un tema en permanente construcción como es la memoria.es-ES
