dc.description	This article deals with a series of interventions carried out by the Argentine artist Leandro Katz at the beginning of the seventies within the framework of actions and exhibitions promoted by the Center for Art and Communication of Buenos Aires. An interdisciplinary space that promoted experimental practices and theoretical production around Latin American art. He carried out a policy of exhibitions articulated around the creation of a network of links between alternative institutions, artists and theoreticians. Since the mid-1960s, Katz had been working outside the territory and inserted in the New York scene marked by an anti-institutional and alternative attitude, among the artists associated with conceptualism. Based on the analysis of a series of interventions that Katz carried out in 1972 in Buenos Aires, his participation in the international boycott of the São Paulo Biennial (1971) and an unsolicited contribution to the III Coltejer Biennial of Medellín, this article proposes open the possibility of reviewing some of the exchange actions promoted or accompanied by the CayC. Likewise, we propose an approach to the prolific and little-known early career of Leandro Katz.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo aborda una serie de intervenciones realizadas por el artista argentino Leandro Katz a inicios de los años setenta en el marco de acciones y exposiciones impulsadas por el Centro de Arte y Comunicación de Buenos Aires. Un espacio interdisciplinar que promovió las prácticas experimentales y la producción teórica en torno al arte latinoamericano. Llevó adelante una política de exposiciones articuladas en torno a la creación de una red de vínculos entre instituciones alternativas, artistas y teóricos. Desde mediados de los años sesenta Katz se encontraba trabajando fuera del territorio e inserto en la escena neoyorquina signada por una actitud antiinstitucional y alternativa, entre los artistas asociados a los conceptualismos. A partir del análisis de una serie de intervenciones que Katz realiza en 1972 en Buenos Aires, su participación en el boicot internacional a la Bienal de San Pablo (1971) y una contribución no solicitada en la III bienal Coltejer de Medellín, este artículo se propone abrir la posibilidad de revisar algunas de las acciones de intercambio impulsadas o acompañadas por el CayC.
