dc.descriptionIn this essay we aim at understanding how Aymara families in Bolivia and people in Mapuche territories in southern Chile prepare to attend to the intrinsic relationality of life along a continuum of everyday and ritual practices. We study these examples of habilitating cosmopraxis from the viewpoint of an anthropology of life, whose objective is to recalibrate the anthropological perspective in a fully biosocial sense. Through the complementarity of these long-standing ethnographic experiences, we show how these practices run indistinctively and in an interdependent way from the everyday practices to the so-called ritual ones and vice versa, giving way to communities of learning that prepare their members to care for the complex meshwork of life in which they participate. Our approach draws from the conceptual triad of agency-habit-attentionality in order to rethink in a critical and constructive way the ecological and social ‘agency’ and how it is supported by ritual praxis.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo busca comprender cómo se habilitan las personas, tanto en familias aymara, en Bolivia, como en territorios mapuche en el sur de Chile, para atender a la intrínseca relacionalidad de la vida mediante un continuum de prácticas cotidianas y rituales. Estudiamos estos ejemplos de cosmopraxis habilitante desde una antropología de la vida, que se propone recalibrar la mirada antropológica en un sentido plenamente biosocial. A través de la complementariedad de tales experiencias etnográficas de larga duración mostramos cómo estas prácticas transitan indistintamente de manera interdependiente desde lo más cotidiano hacia el ritual y viceversa, conformando comunidades de aprendizajes que habilitan a sus miembros a cuidar la compleja malla de vida de la que participan. Nuestro abordaje acude a la tríada conceptual de agenciamiento-hábito-atencionalidad a fin de repensar de manera crítica y constructiva la ‘agencia’ ecológica-social en general y cómo ésta es apoyada en parte por la praxis ritual.es-ES
