dc.description	Some elite burial bundles of the Ychma society have a fine tapestry panel with mythological scenes sewn to the outside of the burial package. The varied iconography embodied in these panels allows us to approach the mythological pantheon of the central coast where the sea constitutes the stage where a series of characters and marine animals interact; likewise, some scenes seem to imitate iconography embodied in friezes and gold objects from the north coast of Peru. The tapestries that are described date from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, when the central coast, despite being under the control of the Inca empire, maintained prestige due to the power of the priestly elite of the sanctuary of Pachacamac.	en-US
dc.description	Algunos fardos funerarios de elite de la sociedad Ychma, llevan cosidos en la parte externa del paquete funerario, un fino panel de tapiz con escenas mitológicas. La variada iconografía plasmada en estos paneles permite aproximarnos al panteón mitológico de la costa central donde el mar constituye el escenario donde interactúan una serie de personajes y animales marinos; así mismo, algunas escenas parecen imitar iconografía plasmada en frisos y objetos de oro de la costa norte del Perú. Los tapices que se describen datan de los siglos XV y XVI momento en que la costa central a pesar de estar bajo el control del imperio inca, mantuvo prestigio debido al poder de la elite sacerdotal del santuario de Pachacamac.	es-ES
