| dc.description | In this article, male tenderness does not appear as a fixed and unique concept, rather it refers to three types of ten- derness: loving, childish and paternal tenderness. These three concepts become the main dimensions of analysis to discuss how a group of popular songs through music/sound/vocal performance/discourse constitute a way to express male affection. Likewise, it analyzes how masculine tenderness is represented, the voice being a fundamental space of enunciation that functions as a vehicle of affection, to find out to what extent masculine tenderness could be a way of dislocating gender stereotypes through behavior affective or an “affective performativity”. The construction of meanings, appropriation, and re-signification of concepts such as affection, paternity, tenderness, masculinity, and childhood are problematized, from the criticism of the concept of masculinity and the theoretical basis that different representative authors from the “affective turn” contribute. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo la ternura masculina no aparece como un concepto fijo y único, más bien hace refe- rencia a tres tipos de ternura: la amorosa, la infantil y la paternal. Estos tres conceptos se vuelven las principales dimensiones de análisis para discutir cómo es que un grupo de canciones populares, por medio de la música/sonido/voz/discurso, se constituyen en un canal para expresar el afecto mascu- lino. Asimismo se analiza cómo aparece representada la ternura masculina, siendo la voz un espacio fundamental de enunciación que funciona como vehículo del afecto, para llegar a averiguar hasta qué punto la ternura masculina podría ser un modo de dislocar los estereotipos de género mediante un comportamiento afectivo o performatividad afectiva. Se problematiza en torno a la construcción de significados, apropiación y resignificación de conceptos como el afecto, la paternidad, la ternura, la masculinidad y la infancia, a partir de la crítica al concepto de masculinidad y la base teórica que aportan diferentes autoras y autores representantes del giro afectivo. | es-ES |
