| dc.description | This paper characterizes the challenges and possibilities of studying the history of Chilean historiography and its relationship with politics during the 20th century. With this purpose, in the first place, we make a general balance of the development of historiography in Chile. Then we give an account of the methodological challenges involved in studying the work of historians. Thirdly, we assess the slow process of consolidation of the history of Chilean historiography as a field of study in Chile. Next, we explore the main trends in the study of the history of historiography in recent years. Finally, we identify the possibilities and projections of the study of the history of Chilean historiography. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este ensayo caracteriza los desafíos y posibilidades del estudio de la historia de la historiografía chilena y su relación con la política durante el siglo XX. Con este propósito, en primer lugar, realizamos un balance general del desarrollo de la historiografía en Chile. Luego damos cuenta de los desafíos metodológicos que implica el estudio del quehacer de los historiadores. En tercer lugar, efectuamos un balance del lento proceso de consolidación de la historia de la historiografía chilena como campo de estudio en Chile. A continuación, exploramos las principales tendencias de estudio de la historia de la historiografía durante los últimos años.
