| dc.description | This article aims to propose a critical analysis of the process of urban regeneration that involved the construction of the emergency residential complex called La Virgencica, through an artistic practice, as an alternative methodology to generate relevant knowledge about inhabiting practices. This methodology makes possible to delve into reflections on the processes of spatial normalisation, but above all to think about practices of resistance to these processes of regularisation: from care of the links that makes the existence of a community possible to the different ways of appropriating space that can go beyond the architectural apparatuses. Although all production of urban space is closely linked to specific ways of disciplining forms of life, we are interested in attending to the critical potential of those forms of life that are not subject to their modes of standardisation. We consider that artistic research has a particular capacity to recover the memory of place and to think about the ways in which methodologies can be developed to insubordinately inhabit the segregating forms of the present. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo tiene por objeto proponer un análisis crítico del proceso de regeneración urbana que supuso la edificación del conjunto residencial de emergencia denominado La Virgencica, a través de una práctica artística, como metodología alternativa para generar conocimiento relevante sobre las prácticas del habitar. Metodología que hace posible ahondar en las reflexiones en torno a los procesos de normalización espacial, pero sobre todo pensar en prácticas de resistencia a esos procesos de regularización: desde el cuidado de los vínculos que hace posible la existencia de una comunidad hasta las diversas maneras de apropiarse del espacio que pueden desbordar los aparatos arquitectónicos. Si bien toda producción del espacio urbano está estrechamente vinculada con unos modos específicos de disciplinar las formas de vida, nos interesa atender al potencial crítico de aquellas formas de vida que no se sujetan a sus modos de estandarización. Consideramos que la investigación artística tiene un rendimiento particular para recuperar la memoria del lugar y pensar en qué sentidos se pueden desarrollar metodologías para habitar insubordinadamente las formas segregadoras del presente. | es-ES |
