dc.descriptionWe will analyze the plastic content of the Ibero-Americanist magazine Mercurio of Barcelona, and the Catalanist Ressorgiment of Buenos Aires between 1910 and 1938. We will study the aim of both publications that were part of the American journalism through a Catalan perspective. We will identify the role of women in their symbolic contents considering the ideological slope of each magazine. We will study the feminine representation in the identity perception of both journals in their role as a meeting point between Spain and America in general and, concretely, as a forum for the cultural representations of Catalonia in the Ibero-American sphere.en-US
dc.descriptionAnalizaremos el contenido plástico de la revista iberoamericanista Mercurio de Barcelona y de la catalanista Ressorgiment de Buenos Aires entre 1910 y 1938. Estudiaremos el objetivo de ambas publicaciones que se integraron en el periodismo americano desde una perspectiva catalana. Identificaremos la representación de la mujer en sus contenidos simbólicos teniendo en cuenta la vertiente ideológica de cada revista. Estudiaremos la representación femenina en la percepción identitaria de las publicaciones en su rol de punto de encuentro entre España y América en general y, concretamente, como espacio de difusión de las representaciones culturales de Cataluña en el ámbito iberoamericano.es-ES
