Pentecostalism in Brazil has always raised many questions, some already answered and others still being elaborated. The Swedish Baptist Church, founded among Swedish settlers in Guarani (RS), established itself promoting a different type of Pentecostalism, therefore, this essay wants to propose some questions, in order to answer them. Are there gaps in the analysis of the beginning of Pentecostalism in Brazil? Can we use an exclusive way to understand such a fluid religiosity? Analytical exhaustion is a concern in this text, which argues that we return the tools to broaden, deepen and extend them, so that we can proceed with research on the religion that grew the most in Brazil in the 20th century. All facets already analyzed bring contributions to current research, but in some aspects it is already possible to verify exhaustion, something understandable, when there are new perspectives of observation on the phenomenon. La Iglesia Bautista Sueca, fundada entre los colonos suecos en Guaraní (RS), se consolidó promoviendo un tipo diferente de pentecostalismo, por lo tanto, este ensayo quiere proponer algunas preguntas para responderlas. ¿Hay lagunas en el análisis del inicio del pentecostalismo en Brasil? ¿Podemos usar una forma exclusiva de entender una religiosidad tan fluida? El agotamiento analítico es una preocupación en este texto, que argumenta que devolvemos las herramientas para ampliarlas, profundizarlas y extenderlas, de modo que podamos avanzar con la investigación sobre la religión que más creció en Brasil en el siglo 20. Todas las facetas ya analizadas aportan aportes a la investigación actual, pero en algunos aspectos ya es posible constatar un agotamiento, algo comprensible, cuando existen nuevas perspectivas de observación sobre el fenómeno. Existem lacunas nas análises sobre o início do pentecostalismo no Brasil? Podemos utilizar uma forma exclusiva para entendermos uma religiosidade tão fluída? O esgotamento analítico é uma preocupação neste texto, que argumenta retornarmos as ferramentas para ampliá-las, aprofundá-las e estendê-las, para que possamos prosseguir nas pesquisas sobre a religião que mais cresceu no Brasil no século 20. Todas as facetas já analisadas trazem contribuições as atuais pesquisas, mas, em alguns aspectos já é possível averiguar esgotamentos, algo compreensível, quando existem novas perspectivas de observação sobre o fenômeno. A contribuição proposta aqui é termos, a partir do exemplo da IBS, o cuidado de não fecharmos questão sobre este tema extenso, profundo e plural.
