| dc.description | Desde el retorno a la democracia, se han presentado en el Congreso Nacional 5 proyectos de ley para crear la figura del Ombudsman en Chile, pero ninguno se ha logrado materializar. Sin embargo, se constata la creación de diversos servicios públicos símiles a la teoría general del Ombudsman para proteger a la ciudadanía frente a vulneraciones de sus derechos focalizados a materias específicas. Este estudio se centra en el funcionamiento de estos servicios públicos que abarcan materias de atención de un Defensor o Defensora del Pueblo, exponiendo el alcance de su gestión y los principales derechos defendidos entre los años 2010 y 2020, presentando una matriz de datos actualizada sobre la defensa de los derechos de la ciudadanía en Chile. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Since the return to democracy, five bills have been presented in the National Congress to create the figure of Ombudsman in Chile, but none has materialized. However, various public services like the general theory of Ombudsman have been created to protect citizens against violations of their rights, focusing on specific issues. This study focuses on the operation of these public services that cover matters of attention of an Ombudsman, exposing the scope of its management and the main rights defended between 2010 and 2020, presenting an update data matrix about the defense of citizenship right in Chile. | en-US |
