| dc.description | In this paper we propose an approach to Friedrich Schiller’s thought, taking as a starting point for our reflection his particular attempt to overcome the social and political problems of his time. Our purpose is to reveal how Schiller projects, through a specific aesthetic principle, and perhaps one of the most original of his period, a reconciliation [versöhnung] between the antagonistic forces of the spirit human in order to tackle the growing discomfort that affects modern subjectivity. In doing so, Schiller conceives not just a “new principle of reality”, seen through the phenomenon of beauty [Schönheit], but also a paradoxical material and symbolic reconfiguration of what he will later call “aesthetic world” [ästhetische Welt]. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este ensayo proponemos una aproximación al pensamiento de Friedrich Schiller, tomando como punto de partida para nuestras reflexiones su particular intento de superar la crisis social y política de su época. Nuestro propósito es revelar cómo Schiller proyecta, a través de un principio estético específico, y tal vez uno de los más originales de su periodo, una reconciliación [versöhnung] entre las fuerzas antagónicas del espíritu humano con el fin de hacer frente al creciente malestar que afecta a la subjetividad moderna. Al hacer esto, Schiller no solo da cuenta de un “nuevo principio de la realidad”, visto a través del fenómeno de la belleza [Schönheit], sino que además concibe, a partir de este mismo principio, una paradojal reconfiguración material y simbólica de lo que posteriormente él llamará “Mundo estético” [ästhetische Welt]. | es-ES |
