dc.descriptionTwo decades ago, government production of statistical data on LGBT+ people were uncommon. This implied problems in the design of urban social policies. Social organizations made up for this lack, generating information about LGBT+ human rights, without delving into the right to adequate housing. This article seeks to contribute to the production, management, and analysis of information on the right to adequate housing. To do this, a review is carried out of each of the seven key elements of this right: security of tenure, availability of services, bearable expenses (affordability), habitability, accessibility, location (place) and cultural appropriateness. Although there is a set of legal initiatives that protect LGBT+ rights, the result of the analysis is that, in each of the key elements of the law, various conflicts occur that LGBT+ people face for the production and management of urban space, homes, neighbourhoods and cities, around spatial justice.en-US
dc.descriptionHace dos décadas era infrecuente la producción gubernamental de datos estadísticos acerca de personas LGBT+. Esto implicaba problemas en el diseño de políticas sociales urbanas. Las organizaciones sociales suplían esta carencia, generando información de la situación de los derechos humanos LGBT+, sin ahondar en el derecho a una vivienda adecuada. En este artículo se busca realizar un aporte a la producción, gestión y análisis de información del derecho a la vivienda adecuada. Para ello, se realiza una revisión de cada uno de los siete elementos clave de este derecho: la seguridad de la tenencia, la disponibilidad de servicios, los gastos soportables (asequibilidad), habitabilidad, la accesibilidad, ubicación (lugar) y la adecuación cultural. Si bien existe un conjunto de iniciativas legales que protegen derechos LGBT+, el resultado del análisis constata que, en cada uno de los elementos clave del derecho se producen diversos conflictos que las personas LGBT+ enfrentan para la producción y gestión del espacio urbano, de viviendas, barrios y ciudades, en torno a la justicia espacial.es-ES
