dc.descriptionThe objective of this study was to evaluate the well-being and quality of life of patients with chronic diseases, as well as to determine if occupational therapy can improve their quality of life. An online survey was conducted among 200 patients with chronic diseases, which included questions about their general well-being, level of energy, quality of sleep, ability to perform daily and social activities, level of pain, and side effects of medical treatment. Patients were also asked if they received occupational therapy in the past year. The results showed that the majority of patients reported regular levels of general well-being and quality of life, and experienced changes in their energy and pain levels in the past months. Additionally, a significant proportion of patients experienced sleeping problems and limitations in performing daily activities. Regarding occupational therapy, it was found that a minority of patients had received this type of treatment in the past year.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el bienestar y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedades crónicas, así como determinar si la terapia ocupacional puede mejorar su calidad de vida. Se llevó a cabo una encuesta en línea a 200 pacientes con enfermedades crónicas, que presentó preguntas sobre su bienestar general, nivel de energía, calidad del sueño, capacidad para realizar actividades cotidianas y sociales, nivel de dolor y efectos secundarios del tratamiento médico. También se preguntó a los pacientes si recibieron terapia ocupacional en el último año. Los resultados mostraron que la mayoría de los pacientes reportaron niveles regulares de bienestar general y calidad de vida, y experimentaron cambios en su nivel de energía y dolor en los últimos meses. Además, una proporción significativa de pacientes experimentan problemas para dormir y limitaciones para realizar actividades cotidianas. En cuanto a la terapia ocupacional, se encontró que una minoría de pacientes había recibido este tipo de tratamiento en el último año.es-ES
