dc.description	This article presents a comprehensive review of the human security phenomenon and its recent analytic agenda, looking to determine its use limits and scopes, both in political theory and practice. Specifically, this paper aims to answer what have been the trends that mark the evolution of the concept human security, in order to identify it’s conceptual development guidelines and main trends. By way of conclusion, the article deepens on the reasons for the interest in rescuing the concept as a central component in human development’s debate.	en-US
dc.description	Este documento presenta una revisión integral del fenómeno de la seguridad humana y de su agenda analítica reciente con el fin de precisar los límites y alcances que tiene su utilización tanto en la teoría como en la práctica política. En concreto, se busca dar respuesta a la pregunta acerca de cuáles han sido las tendencias que marcan la evolución del concepto de seguridad humana con el objetivo de identificar tanto las pautas en que se ha dado ese desarrollo conceptual como las principales tendencias que han marcado dicho desarrollo. A manera de conclusión, se ahonda en las razones del interés por rescatarla como un componente central en el debate referente al desarrollo humano y la transformación social.	es-ES
