dc.descriptionThe paper refers to the relationship between the meaning of the figures of Diotima in the Platonic Banquet and Zambrano’s essay “Diótima de Mantinea”. Through the figure of the inspired woman who teaches the philosopher, emphasis is placed on the notion of Eros, dáimon of mediation between the human and the divine. The analysis seeks to connect what is properly rational in philosophical discourse with its pre-rational source; by Zambrano’s position, about the classical and especially archaic sources of the Greek world, the axes of each text are described, highlighting Zambrano’s interest in constituting the bases of his original method recognized as “poetic reason”. In the process, it is intended to highlight the author’s proposal to integrate and not the division of knowledge and her denunciation of scientific rationality.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo refiere a la relación de significado de las figuras de Diótima en el Banquete platónico y en el ensayo de Zambrano “Diótima de Mantinea”. A través de la figura de la mujer inspirada que enseña al filósofo se hace hincapié en la noción de Eros, dáimon de mediación entre lo humano y lo divino. El análisis busca conectar lo propiamente racional del discurso filosófico con su fuente pre- racional; de acuerdo con la postura de Zambrano, en relación con las fuentes clásicas y especialmente arcaicas del mundo griego, se describen los ejes de cada texto poniendo de relieve el interés de Zambrano en constituir bases de su método original reconocido como “razón poética”. En el proceso, se pretende destacar la propuesta de la autora en orden a la integración y no a la división de los saberes y a su denuncia de la racionalidad cientificista.es-ES
