The work aims to identify from the feminist urban geography the elements of the space that produce social barriers and exclude women with disabilities from the public space, the space is placed as a social production and therefore it is possible to transform it and make it accessible and inclusive. We question the androcentrism that excludes women with disabilities and that has made cities disabling. We believe that disability needs to be understood as a matter of public interest from the social model, hence the importance of the rule of law in favor of women with disabilities so that they have an independent life. Therefore, it is urgent that the Mexican State abide by the recommendations that the Committee on the Human Rights of persons with disabilities has made to it, which must be implemented at the different levels of government and that society as a whole become aware.El trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar desde la geografía urbana feminista los elementos del espacio que producen barreras sociales y excluyen a las mujeres con discapacidad del espacio público, se coloca al espacio como producción social y por tanto es posible transformarlo y hacerlo accesible e incluyente. Interpelamos al androcentrismo que excluye a las mujeres con discapacidad y que ha hecho a las ciudades discapacitantes. Consideramos que la discapacidad requiere ser entendida como un asunto de interés público desde el modelo social, de ahí la importancia del estado de derecho a favor de las mujeres con discapacidad para que tengan una vida independiente. Por lo tanto, es urgente que el Estado mexicano acate las recomendaciones que el Comité de los Derechos Humanos de las personas con discapacidad le ha hecho, las cuales tienen que ser implementadas en los distintos niveles de gobierno y que la sociedad en su conjunto tome conciencia.
