dc.description	El presente artículo se pregunta por la función que adquiere un suceso particular en el imaginario de la santidad: la enfermedad y el padecimiento de ésta. El caso de Fray Andresito es particularmente atractivo, puesto que éste es un Siervo de Dios, por lo tanto, no goza de la santidad proclamada por la Santa Sede. No obstante, sus Vidas Santas y otros relatos lo tratan como si así fuere. En el margen de la santidad, Fray Andrés se enfrenta a la modernización del siglo XIX y reivindica la cercanía, el contacto, el gesto.	es-ES
dc.description	This article questions the role of a particular event in the imaginary of holiness: the disease and suffering from it. Fray Andresito’s case is particularly attractive, since this is a Servant of God, therefore, has no sanctity proclaimed by the Holy See. However, their Holy Lifes and other stories suposes him as a saint. In the margin of holiness, Fray Andres faces the modernization of the nineteenth century claiming closeness, touch, gesture.	en-US
