El futuro de la investigación en Enfermería ¿Por qué los estudiantes no están interesados en la generación del conocimiento?

| dc.description | The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the 2030 Agenda, are 17 interconnected global goals designed as a plan to achieve a better, more sustainable future. Research is a crucial part of generating strategies that promote quality education, good health and well-being, gender equality, reduced inequalities, among others. However, despite opportunities to participate in research, there is little interest shown by students; particularly in Nursing, the apathy to get involved in research groups and academics is notorious, so it is important to understand where this attitude of not generating knowledge comes from. The objective of this research was to identify the factors that influence the indifference to research in Nursing students; A descriptive and cross-sectional design was carried out, applying an instrument of 10 multiple-choice questions. The results showed that the main factors why they are not interested in research are economic, bureaucratic, no broadcasting and considering that the art of generating knowledge is difficult. Researchers who are part of higher-level institutions are failing to clarify and promote the spirit of curiosity in students. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), conocidos también como la Agenda 2030, son 17 objetivos globales interconectados diseñados como un plan para lograr un futuro mejor y más sostenible. La investigación es parte crucial para generar estrategias que permitan fomentar la educación de calidad, salud y bienestar, igualdad de género, reducción de las desigualdades, entre otros. Sin embargo, a pesar de las convocatorias a nivel superior para realizar estancias de investigación, es poco el interés mostrado en los estudiantes; particularmente en Enfermería, la apatía por involucrarse en los grupos de investigación y cuerpos académicos es notoria, por lo que es importante comprender de donde viene esta actitud de no generar conocimiento. El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar los factores que influyen en la indiferencia a la investigación en los estudiantes de Enfermería; se hizo un diseño descriptivo y transversal, aplicando un instrumento de 10 preguntas de opción múltiple. En los resultados se observó que los factores principales por los que no se interesan en la investigación son económicos, burocráticos, poca difusión y considerar que es difícil el arte de generar conocimientos. Es claro que los investigadores que son parte de las instituciones de nivel superior están fallando en clarificar y fomentar el espíritu de curiosidad en los estudiantes. | es-ES |
