dc.descriptionDuring the last decades, the issue of care has taken a greater role in the political and academic agendas, evidencing the global crisis scenario that sustaining life is experiencing. The double presence, as a reissue that feminism makes of the “double working day”, is a phenomenon that arises in this crisis. Through this research, we sought to know the form of expression of the phenomenon of double presence in the daily lives of women who work in public initial education in vulnerable contexts in Santiago de Chile and who provide care within the home. In the search to question the traditional way of building knowledge, Narrative Productions is chosen, as a feminist research proposal, to enable the emergence of co-produced textualizations with the women who part of this process were, seeking the emergence of new meanings spun between them. The stories show the way in which double presence impacts different dimensions of life, configuring a scenario in which the phenomenon is continually reproduced and exacerbated, conditioning life trajectories and perpetuating the gendering of subjects and occupations.en-US
dc.descriptionDurante las últimas décadas, el tema del cuidado ha tomado mayor protagonismo en las agendas políticas y académicas, evidenciando el escenario de crisis global que atraviesa el sostenimiento de la vida. La doble presencia, como reedición que el feminismo hace de la “doble jornada laboral”, un fenómeno que toma forma en esta crisis. A través de esta investigación se buscó conocer la forma de expresión del fenómeno de la doble presencia en la vida cotidiana de mujeres que trabajan en la educación inicial pública en contextos vulnerables en Santiago de Chile y que brindan cuidados dentro del hogar. En la búsqueda de cuestionar la forma tradicional de construir conocimiento, se opta por las Producciones Narrativas, como propuesta de investigación feminista, para posibilitar el surgimiento de textualizaciones coproducidas con las mujeres que fueron parte de este proceso, buscando el surgimiento de nuevos significados hilados entre sí. Los relatos muestran la manera en que la doble presencia impacta en diferentes dimensiones del cotidiano, configurando un escenario en el que el fenómeno se reproduce y agudiza continuamente, condicionando las trayectorias de vida y perpetuando la generización de sujetos/as y ocupaciones.es-ES
