dc.descriptionThe text appears as a better alternative in the process of systematization and circulation of knowledge that we promote as the Feminist Core of Occupational Therapists, regarding the realization of the Cycle of Feminist Occupational Therapy Meetings in March 2017, in Santiago, Chile. Here we bring together occupational therapists and students of the same discipline, with the main objective of building a collectively feminist occupational therapy. The thoughtfulness -articulations and tensions- on the process of the Cycle of Encounters made it possible to account for the political dimension of resistance practices like this, separated from feminist and counter-hegemonic pedagogies, to collaborate in the construction of a feminist occupational therapy. The topics proposed in four meetings of the Cycle were: feminism and occupational therapy, sexist violence, disability and gender, and care as a feminized occupation. We support from our locus of speech, and collectively, dialogues that reveal and highlight the learnings, in a situated way and anchored in the recognition of those who preceded us, of those who were historically challenged and resisted a supposedly unique history of occupational therapy. Meeting each other, dialoguing, recognizing each other and consciously resisting, continue to be ways of transforming.en-US
dc.descriptionEl texto surge como una alternativa más en el proceso de sistematización y circulación de saberes que alentamos como Núcleo Feminista de Terapeutas Ocupacionales, a propósito de la realización de un Ciclo de Encuentros de Terapia Ocupacional Feminista en marzo de 2017, en Santiago de Chile. En éste convocamos a terapeutas ocupacionales y estudiantes de la misma disciplina, con el objetivo principal de construir colectivamente una terapia ocupacional feminista. Las reflexiones -articulaciones y tensiones- sobre el proceso del Ciclo de Encuentros, nos permitieron dar cuenta de la dimensión política de prácticas de resistencia como ésta, desplegadas desde las pedagogías feministas, contrahegemónicas, para colaborar en la construcción de una terapia ocupacional feminista. Los temas propuestos en los cuatro encuentros del Ciclo, fueron: feminismo y terapia ocupacional, violencia machista, discapacidad y género, y cuidados como ocupación feminizada. Sostuvimos desde nuestro lugar de habla, y colectivamente, diálogos que revelaron y relevaron los aprendizajes, de manera situada y anclados en el reconocimiento de quienes nos antecedieron, de quienes históricamente han interpelado y resistido a una supuesta historia única de la terapia ocupacional. Encontrarnos, dialogar, reconocernos y resistir concientemente, continúan siendo modos de transformar.es-ES
