dc.descriptionReligious sisters in Chile contribute in an important way in various spheres of our society, from education, community, to the care of life. These tasks are framed within their religious role and are part of the identity they build as religious sisters. The present research seeks to analyze the contents and identity perception of religious sisters who carry out workplace occupations. For these purposes, interviews were carried out with religious sisters belonging to different congregations in Santiago de Chile. From the content analysis emerged that although there are significant differences between the different congregations in the way of organizing, operating, and in the different tasks that they carry out, these differences do not appear as relevant in identity formation of religious sisters, who share substantive identity aspects, building an interwoven relationship between religious, personal and occupational life from their identity as religious sisters.en-US
dc.descriptionLas hermanas religiosas en Chile contribuyen de modo importante en diversas esferas de nuestra sociedad, desde lo educativo, comunitario, hasta el cuidado de la vida. Dichas labores se enmarcan al interior de su rol religioso y hacen parte de la identidad que construyen en su calidad de hermanas religiosas. La presente investigación busca analizar los contenidos y la percepción identitaria de hermanas religiosas que desarrollan ocupaciones propias del ámbito laboral. Para estos efectos, se realizaron entrevistas a hermanas religiosas pertenecientes a distintas congregaciones en Santiago de Chile; del análisis de contenidos de ellas se desprende que si bien hay diferencias significativas en la forma de organizarse y operar entre las distintas congregaciones, y que realizan distintas labores, estas diferencias no aparecen como relevantes en la conformación identitaria de las hermanas religiosas, las que comparten aspectos identitarios sustantivos, construyendo una relación imbricada entre vida religiosa, personal y ocupacional, a partir de su identidad de hermanas religiosas.es-ES
