dc.descriptionDuring 2006 the Geophysics Department ofthe University of Chile conducted a series of highresolution regional climate model (RCM) simulationsfor Chile’s National Environmental Commission(CONAMA). The study employed a dynamicalmodel (PRECIS) to produce spatially detailed climateprojections for Chile under two different emissionsscenarios. The results of the simulations were madefreely available for use by the scientific community,industry and policy makers.es-ES
