dc.description	Through an historical journey on the role of the state and civil society, the author posits that organizations and social movements in post-authoritarian state, due to the radical neo-liberal modernization and a political system of supervised democracy, there is no social space to have a political voice. The State accepts them, constrained to certain functions, but does not stimulate or favor their self-development. Given this, organizations must choose between submitting to this role, or seek self-development with all the difficulties and risks involved.	en-US
dc.description	A través de un viaje histórico sobre el rol del Estado y la sociedad civil, el autor postula que las organizaciones y los movimientos sociales en el Estado postautoritario, debido a la radical modernización neoliberal de y un sistema político de democracia tutelada no tienen espacio social para tener una voz política. El Estado las acepta constreñidas a determinadas funciones, pero no estimula ni favorece su desarrollo autónomo. Frente a esto, las organizaciones deben optar entre someterse a dicho rol, o buscar un desarrollo autónomo con todos las dificultades y riesgos que ello implica.	es-ES
